One of the commentators made a good point. The state said they had no witnesses. Zimmerman's attorney said...okay...but I need some kind of witness for the state...

and called the state's investigator to the stand...and nailed him.

The commentator said...the state witness is now absolutely stuck with his testimony.

I tell ya...Perry Mason has returned.

Very early on there was a video of him getting out of a cop car in a police station with his head bloodied. Methinks he wasn’t exactly “free to go” at that point, so regardless of official labels he was, for most practical purposes, under arrest.

He was in police custody, handcuffed and not free to leave; that constitutes “arrest” even thought he wasn’t charged with a crime until later.

I guess he was not arrested, just placed in handcuffs, transported to the police station, and interrogated for several hours. /s
