Rep. Maxine Waters says Trayvon Martin killing may be hate crime

South Bay Rep. Maxine Waters on Wednesday characterized the shooting of Florida teenager Trayvon Martin as a "hate crime" during an appearance on CNN.

"There are too many unanswered questions and I really, personally, believe this is a hate crime," Waters said during a joint early morning television interview with Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, D-Mo.

Martin, a 17-year-old African-American, was fatally shot last month by George Zimmerman, a Neighborhood Watch leader. Zimmerman, who was not charged with a crime, has said he acted in self-defense after Martin punched him. Zimmerman has a white father and Latino mother.

The only hate crime here is her hatred for white people. She is going to try to use this to squeeze everything she can out of it.

People like this should not hold office. I am going to get a trademark for a black bag with her face on it. It will say “My face is a hate crime”!

Maxine Waters is a "Hate Crime". Every time I hear her say something, I am offended. I'm offended that THAT is what a person who is in the Congress of the United States is the BEST we can do?

Of course, being from a Tribal area, she cannot lose an Election, unless ANOTHER Black candidate with even more vitriol against Whites comes forward to run against her.
