There is no US in the GOP. Tea Party, patriots, and conservatives are not welcome at the table. Our masters made that quite clear. We are an embarrasment to them. Like a woman being cheated on by her spouse - he counts on her to stay because where else can she go? He both loathes her for her weakness in putting up with him and needs her to stay so he feels virile.

I won’t hold my nose and vote for Romney. Even if Sarah Palin herself steps out and endorses him. I wish them luck on regaining the House and claiming the Senate. They’re going to need it. The media and celebrity culture is poised to take them down - ready to do the bidding of their King.

I didn’t see it, but my friends said I was on it the entire speech. The good news is our group of campaigners have gone from amateurs to some of the best in the state.

Our initial numbers are showing we may have moved the percentages somewhere in the neighborhood of 5% in a 10% loss over the rest of the County. With a good campaign and the Party not fighting us we could win. It is all built around campaign signs.

Pray for America

I was in south FL during Dec. and Jan. and did not see one TV ad for Newt.

-- If the GOP has to depend on another energetic, lively, enthusiastic VP candidate to help pull their nominee over the finish line ... --

Heh - finished in second place in a two man race. I call that losing.

-- that says more about the inherent problems with the GOP. --

Yep. Grumpy old men and their crony capitalist system. The way to win elections, in this country, today, is to appeal to the base instincts/emotions of the listener, and promise largess from the public treasury.

Wallace doing his damnedest to shut up Lynn Cheney as she continues her answer regarding Coleman/PPH and veers into the Obama/Catholic issue.

She said “I wanted to get that in because I don’t know if you’ll get back to me”

Wallace: “We don’t run red lights around here.”

Rachel MADCOW....a moderator?

If the church is a “business”? No one is talking about “contraception” without ever mentioning the morning after pill? and guess that the sterilication aspect fits in nicely with Margraet Sangers’ desire to eliminate undesirables.

Morgan, that is exactly the kind of statement you would be severely pummelled for on less amicable threads.

This primary has brought out insanity in many freepers. I can’t even count how many people have convinced themselves that Romney is as bad or worse than Obama.

This is even though we see daily more and more evidence of the destructive insanity of Obama that cannot be allowed to continue for four years.

Romney doesn’t seem to have strong conservative beliefs or anything that he is particularly fighting for and he would be ... at best ... a do nothing president, but nobody, nobody, nobody is as bad as Obama.

hmmm

FNS

Wallace asks about the power of ‘social media’ on politics.

That brings up a question: Is FR considered a ‘social media’?

[Since I retired several years ago, I don’t keep up with the current trends, etc.]

“I won’t hold my nose and vote for Romney” with attitudes like yours the outcome is assured. You are one of the problems with the Republican party. I don’t see Romney as a saviour but at least he’s not Obama. Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face.

The GOP is a big tent Party except for Tea Partiers and Conservatives. They want Homosexuals, Abortionists and commies but they close the door on Conservatives. It is time to tear down the tent and go to the grassroots.

Pray for America

-- Wallace: "We don't run red lights around here." --

That's cryptic. Was he chastising her for talking over his signal to move on; or was he letting her know that the studio/program doesn't have a "red light" that forces a guest to stop?

Whoever has the most negatives will lose in this campaign.
People will vote against whoever they hate the most. Hate will motivate people to vote. Most people hate all of these candidates in either party. Most people think they all lie.

She ain’t alone, we saw that in our election. We are not Dems who vote whichever way the Party demands. She represents a large portion of the Conservative movement who believe Romney is no different than Ohbummer.

Rather than blaming her, look at why this is happening.

Myabe yes, technically. But the press uses that term in reference to Twitter and FaceBook.

In retrospect, it’s kind of obvious that we didn’t start out with any paragons.

In my mind, Rick Perry was the closest to one, but had the early gaffes in debates and was the victim of an effective (but false) campaign that he was pro illegal.

Michele Bachmann seemed to have the most valid resume for running—a conservative representative and tea party favorite. But she destroyed herself in the first debate over a hysterical rant about Gardisol.

This solidified the opinion of some people against female candidates. And it was stupid. Of all the issues facing us, she chose to self destruct over Gardisol???

And go down the line.

It makes you wonder.

Republicans loosing the election would bring economic paralysis. We’re going to find out you can’t continually spend even if you tax the rich at 100%, and everyone can be on ‘Hoarders’ because we will become that nation of hoarders. Easily predictable. I sure wish the media could see it to compare who’s economic plan has the potential for the most growth?(Newt’s, that’s plain to see)

No, YOU are the problem with the Republican party. By voting for Romney, you’re saying it’s okay if the party changes into a home for liberal politicians who are dirty, immoral, dishonest campaigners. I applaud those people who are willing to stand up for the integrity of the party and not turn it into Democrat lite. 8 years of Romney would do more damage to the Republican party and to the country than 4 more years of Obama.
