So, now that we’ve established that the problem is that we don’t like Mormonism, the question is what to do about Mormonism, evidently.
I can pray about it. I can continue to worship at my Lutheran Church (even though it is ELCA, and as such a sect and not really a Church).
I can trust to the fact that all things redound to the will of God. God has a purpose for the Mormon Church, though I do not understand it. Would that it were otherwise, and God decided that the purpose for the Mormon Church were at an end, I have no doubt at all that He would take steps.
For me, I’m an evangelical Christian. I won’t, however, sit here and pretend I have all the answers about God, His will, the nature of grace, and His plan. I can’t, for example, understand how Christ can refer to Enoch as scripture, and yet it isn’t part of the Cannon.
I don’t know. I have no doubt of my salvation through Christ. I have many doubts about almost everything else.
That Reid and Romney are temple worthy is a matter for their Wards or Stakes, and not a matter for me.
As a born again Christian, I will tell you mormonISM is a vile bastardization of the Word of God.
We are commanded to expose false prophets.
Exposing mormonISM should be an issue for you.
A temple worthy president would be an issue - learn about mormonISM and the issue will be made clear.
I advise you to learn about mormonISM before your continued defense of it.
As an Evangelical Christan you shouldn’t be sitting back, you should be witnessing to Mormons and other non-Christians and help guide them to the Jesus of the Bible.
In order to do that, you need to know what they really believe, that they lie about their beliefs and how to answer them.
Mormons are a stubborn lot and it usually takes a spiritual 2x4 to get through to them.
I thank God that people I knew when I was LDS didn’t have your live and let live attitude.
That Reid and Romney are temple worthy is a matter for their Wards or Stakes, and not a matter for me.

What about their temple rites where they wear the apron of Lucifers priesthoods? Allegiance to lucifer doesn’t matter in a candidate? As a Christian, it matters to me.
In their Temple they wear a green apron that symbolizes Lucifers priesthood.

THE APRON
[Lucifer returns as Adam is eating the fruit.]
LUCIFER: That is right.
EVE: [To Adam.] It is better for us to pass through sorrow that we may know the good from the evil. [To Lucifer.] I know thee now. Thou art Lucifer, he who was cast out of Fathers presence for rebellion.
LUCIFER: Yes. You are beginning to see already.
ADAM: What is that apron you have on?
LUCIFER: It is an emblem of my power and priesthoods.
ADAM: Priesthoods?
LUCIFER: Yes, priesthoods.
ADAM: I am looking for Father to come down to give us further instructions.
LUCIFER: Oh, you are looking for Father to come down, are you?
[Elohim and Jehovah are heard speaking outside the Garden Room.]
ELOHIM: Jehovah, we promised Adam that we would visit him and give him further instructions. Come, let us go down.
JEHOVAH: We will go down, Elohim.
ADAM: I hear their voices; they are coming.
LUCIFER: Seeyou are naked. Take some fig leaves and make you aprons. Father will see your nakedness. Quick! Hide!
[Lucifer withdraws from view.]
ADAM: Brethren and sisters, put on your aprons.
Hey, both Tiller the late-term abortionist & the BTK serial killer were members of ELCA churches in Wichita.
Now if they both wind up in hell, I guess, yes, you can say that "all things redound to the (ultimate) will of God" but ya know, it sure would have been nice if Tiller & the BTK guy would have been actually saved in those ELCA churches they attended!
So why not the same with Lds...no urgency for them be saved?
