SANTORUM is getting into that Bachmann II mode again. Too loud, too long, too desperate for an applause line and praying for a standing O. What a cranky nag he becomes sometimes. Sad but true. He comes across as petulant.

It’s because Santorum doesn’t handle losing well. During one of the earlier debates, when Herman Cain was in his prime, Santorum started trying to bring audience members into the discussion by asking if they wanted 9-9-9.
