That is a stupid lie, and it does a number on what little credibility you may have left.
There is so much crap that Newt has done to GOP conservatives that I could believe anything about him easily. Newt is in this to destroy us; bet on it.

I don’t know if I’d agree with what you say his motive is...but I do tend to agree that the result would be what you say, regardless of the motive.
