My point is since all three share the same platform and proposals, why not support the candidate who is itching to take it to Obama?
Perry will tear zero up like a ragdoll. The other two... I dunno. They seem more like consensus-builders and reach-across-the-aisle type guys.
And how is he going to “take it to Obama” if he can’t even back out of the driveway? He’s had more than one debate opportunity to show himself to the primary voters. I have serious doubts that he can take it to anyone regardless of whether he wants to or not. It’s not my job to impress them, it’s their job to impress me. I didn’t know anymore about Cain than I did about Perry so they started out on equal footing with me. He’s got to communicate better, seriously. I’m not saying he doesn’t have good ideas or that he hasn’t done wonderful things for TX but if he can’t convince conservatives who already have similar values and ideas for restoring the republic how is he ever going to be able to do that with the general public who are a much harder sell?

Aye, aye, aye....
He couldn't even tear Mitt a new one, on a stage full of like-minded Republicans. He bumbled and stumbled all over the place. What makes you think he'd be any match for the Chicago Smoothie?
That is the problem. Most people don't like to see someone torn up. When that happens they are more likely to defend that person. When differences are shown in a mild mannered but firm way that what the opposition is doing is destroying the country more people will listen.
