Rick Perry beats Obama in Rasmussen Wisconsin poll
Examiner ^ | November 4, 2011 | Lorraine Yapps Cohen

Heads up all ye who want change from another Obama term in 2012. There’s only one man for that job: Rick Perry. Voters said so in Wisconsin.

Perry topped Obama 46% to 42% in a Rasmussen poll. Should Obama run against Mitt Romney, Obama would win 45% to 41%. Should Obama run against Herman Cain, Obama would win 47% to 41%. The poll makes a case for Perry if Americans really want to see Obama out.

The Rasmussen poll surveyed 500 Wisconsin voters by phone, not a sampling of voters nationwide. But the trendline is up for Perry and a bellwether as the GOP candidate who can ‘take it away’ next November.

The rest of the GOP field is losing its glitter. Meanwhile, Perry continues his ascent toward the top; this, amid purported poor performances at debate. What’s going on with that?

All the dots are there to be connected if you are honest and look—your self-righteous protestations to the contrary. The pollster Wilson is connected to Texas RINO politics. He worked for Rove. Rove has openly dissed Cain and supported Perry/Romney—which ever seem to be ahead in the polls on a particular day. Unless you’re oblivious, Wilson has been carrying Politico’s water.

Your charcterization of the slander is a lie. Where is the proof—other than some woman’s unsubstantiated allegation—anything at all happened? There is none. Cain, as was discovered last night, did not even sign the settlement. You knew that didn’t you?

I’m totally prepared to think badly of Perry. He conditioned me with his attempt to subvert the first Iowa caucus. His flatulant bombast and fake polls have been showering us for weeks. Despite the noise he was losing big time and that’s why he did the only thing he knew how to do—politics of personal destruction.

I’m sure you know Politico is a Marxist rag. The demrats want Perry or Romney to “oppose” Onada because, even if The Usurping Marxist Onada loses, the demrats win. The really neat thing for the demrats? They could appear to be univolved in the Cain lynching with Perry carrying Politicos water.

Not to worry, though, your cretin was joined by Romney. Funny thing about Romney, he was in Oklahoma last week. Guess whose business is in Oklahoma—Wilson’s. Moreover, Romney has ties to the National Restaurant Association (NRA). Guess who else is tied to the NRA? None other than Mr. Mariott who is a big demrat party donor. In a too late attempt to distance himself from the NRA I think Romney resigned from that outfit yesterday.

It took inquiring Freepers less than 24 hours to tie all the players together. There are even pictures. But there you are oblivious or pretending your guy is as innocent as the driven snow.

As angry as I am about this blatant attempt to ruin a good man, I’m enjoying watching the bomb blow up in Perry, Romney and the demrat faces. The really really sweet part? Cain has emerged stronger than ever.

Oh, so I’m just supposed to ignore the dirtbag Perry’s attempted lynching of Mr. Cain? Not, not and not.

This type of talk is really getting tiresome. If you want to go that route, be real about it Cain's campaign tried to lynch Perry

Where is the proof of this so called sex scandal and the growing number of women you are pulling out of thin air. Seems to me you are more in the troll mode than you are a conservative. Keep making up your own facts and the click you hear maybe someone cocking a zot gun.

Yup! He is not running for President of Texas. Something his most fervent admirers neither understand or care about.

And he was NOT a Southern gentleman when he announced his run on the day Bachmann won the Iowa straw poll. Tacky.

As I said, glaringly transparent. Everything you have written about this so-called scandal could have come straight from Political or MSNBC.

You do realize that Cain's support has risen in spite of the 'scandal', don't you? And that you are siding with the left in your condemnation of the man when noting to date has been proven. Yes, you are the 'real conservatives'.

Obama appreciates your help, I'm sure, as does Romney.

Tina Brown founded “the daily beast”, she is an asshat liberal from Britain that became a US citizen in 2005.

She knows squat about America or Texas.

You convinced me you did not know jack and may not be an American, with the line of you cannot force business to enforce laws. They have been doing that my whole life. If you happen to have an American drivers license. And an American car look at all those little stickers stuck all over it. And if you ever get enough money to buy an American mattress do not tear the sticker off. You are one amnesty pushing funny person. And make a note that license was issued by a state.

As to the original article, I would not count Perry out.

He has stepped in a few things like instate tuition for illegal children and just this week he touched on Work Visa’s. Both issues are political firepots.

These things make me cringe because they are live wire issues, but I think he is smart to get that stuff out there now.

One on one match-ups against Obama DO NOT MATTER at this point. The VAST MAJORITY of the general public has barely heard of the Republican candidates, and have virtually no idea what they stand for. Ask them about Cain and they’ll say something like: “Isn’t he that black pizza guy?”. That’s it.

Right now, we need to ignore these hypothetical matchups. Back in 1979/80, they showed Bush-41 easily beating Carter, and Reagan getting killed by Carter (as Reagan was perceived as a nutcase, ready to start a nuclear war his first day in office). But the campaign progressed, the public got to know him, and when it was over, the public realized that he was a reasonable guy who would do a good job as president - and they gave him a landslide victory.

Had Bush-41 won that primary...who knows? Maybe Bush-41 would have been a nice guy with Carter (similar to McCain versus Obama)...and let Carter win simply because no one on our side cared to put in the effort needed to actually win.

To restate: trying to figure out who can beat Obama when the general public knows next to nothing about the options is simply a waste of time.

"Even in a state that went for Barack Obama big time in 2008, Rick Perry is resonating with the voters there!"

I don't think that's necessarily a positive for Perry. Just sayin'.
