This guy is a clown who is doing anything for publicity now that his career is stalling out. I like the movies that he did in the 1980s and 90s. The only other noteworthy movie that he’s been in after that was Bruce Almighty in 2003, and that was not a starring role. His filmography since 2000 has not been impressive, his hosting of TV documentaries is proof of that. Like Whoopi Goldberg, his career crested 15 years ago and he’s spouting liberal drivel to anybody that will listen in hopes that Hollywood will throw him a bone.

I believe it's because Mr. Freeman has said many things in public(see 60 Minutes interview)that is contrary to the standards liberal lines. Now that his star doesn't shine as brilliantly as in years past, he is no longer in demand and must prove himself with the liberal powers that be in Hollywood or he won't get the plum roles.

Thus these wild, baseless comments.
