7:22am. From high ground at the Jersey Shore - it’s just a lot of wind and rain, no damage at all except for some downed branches. My NYC friends who have facebook are not reporting any problems.
From local news it looks like the Asbury Park boardwalk is taking a small hit. The news is so hysterical I don’t know what to believe. But right now everything seems pretty mild.
Sunny, but still breezy here on the Eastern Shore of VA. Chincoteague Causeway was reopened earlier and many of my friends who evacuated are already back assessing damage. Not that bad, all things considered.
