This makes sense. I hope things get better for him.
He must have only a short time to live.
Can the new CEO be as effective a cult leader? If not, Apple stock will crash.
Although I hate the Apple fandom that is pervasive in the culture these days, I have nothing but respect for Steve, and wish him only the best. His story is truly remarkable and inspirational.
You’re a sick individual

You gotta give Steve credit.. His ideas made life a lot better.. I hope Apple survives without him..
He's been on a medical leave of absence since mid-January. Today's resignation portends an unhappy end for he and his family.

From what Ive seen Apple will go on and on
Apple will be fine.
I think so.. He has put Apple on the correct path.
Poor fellow might be fighting cancer again. He will always have a special place in history though. The computers we use to have this dialog are here in large part because of him.
How very sad. I’m not well-versed in computer innovation, the tech world and business, but I know that his leaving the company because of his illness will be difficult for Apple and its employees. I feel badly for him and his family.
“Good riddance.”
Jobs has been a disaster for Apple as there stock is only at $340 and only Exxon has a larger market cap.
If this is due to illness, it is a reminder to all that it is not money that makes us wealthy but our health. Prayers for Mr. Jobs and his family.
As I said on the other thread, like him or not, Steve Jobs was a true visionary - the likes of which we don’t see much anymore - and he’s made a significant impact on our world. And as someone else mentioned, much of it was for good. He will be missed and my prayers go out to a giant of a man.
Thanks to his vision, we can all use better, more innovative products.
May his legacy continue!
