The only thing that matters is how the Supreme Court will rule on this. I still think they’ll strike down the mandate 5-4.
No it isn't.
You can also bet your bottom dollar that when the SCOTUS finally gets this case (and they will), Elena "The Bulldyke" Kagan won't recuse herself, even though she co-wrote the Obama Communist Health Care Takeover.
We are not a nation ruled by law anymore. In Philadelphia, they are a city within a state that permits the open carry of firearms. The cops and the mayor there simply ignore the law, and harass, intimidate, assault, and then charge law abiding citizens while letting the racist black "flash mobs" go Scott free.
SHOCKING AUDIO: Philadelphia Police violate rights of open carrier at gunpoint
We are living in a Police State. We are living in a nation where our Constitution is ignored every day. We are living in a nation where the courts and our politicians are themselves the criminals.
It’s my understanding that this decision was based on the precedent of the 1942 Wickard v. Filburn case, possibly the worst Supreme Court decision in history.
If that is the case, it may be that the argument must be made through another avenue, another case that detours around Filburn.
Sorry but no unfunded mandate of the states or the people is Constitutional. This isn’t a tax, it’s a requirement to buy something. This appeals court is dead wrong!
If we’re going down this road, let’s also make it a mandate that every American must purchase at least one gun.
Even if SCOTUS says it’s Constitutional, I refuse. It’s that simple. I’m not giving in.
Absolutely insane. I hate seeing the courts play football with people’s lives and Constitutionally guaranteed inalienable rights. Get it to SCOTUS because they’re just spouting nonsense until then, IMHO.
It is all showmanship. Next it will go to the Ohio
Supreme Court and be sumarily overridden. Then it will go to the Supreme Court (unless it rules ahead of this on another) and declare the whole thing constitutional. Obama is trying to play out the clock to make it defacto law. He is the most corrupt President ever.
This matter is (eventually) headed for the SCOTUS; although the Obama administration is (obviously) in no hurry for it to arrive there.
Which may be instructive, as regarding the Obama administration's belief as to how that decision will finally come down...
