White House: Weiner's conduct was "inappropriate"

11:45am EDT

ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE (Reuters) - The behavior of Representative Anthony Weiner, snared in an Internet sex scandal, was "inappropriate" and President Barack Obama regards it as an unwanted distraction, the White House said on Monday.

Weiner, a married New York congressman, has defied calls from Democratic party leaders to resign and said on Saturday he would instead seek treatment and a leave of absence after new lewd photos of him emerged in addition to his online exchanges with women.

"The president feels, we feel at the White House, this is a distraction," White House spokesman Jay Carney said aboard Air Force One headed for North Carolina when asked about Obama's position on Weiner.

"The president feels, we feel at the White House,"

That's the problem with libs -- too much feeling, not enough thinking.

Wiener’s conduct was ILLEGAL, especially his slander of Andrew Breitbart. How about a little jail time, eh?

“inappropriate” & a “distraction” = that's it?

How about, outrageous, criminal, loathsome, perverted and totally unbecoming a congressman?

And, this is how Obama feels about women.

What if his daughters had been on the receiving end?

“The president feels, we feel at the White House, this is a distraction,” White House spokesman Jay Carney said...

Kind of like if Weiner was speaking to a crowd of 45,000, and someone threw a pie or started heckling?

The president feels, we feel at the White House, this is a distraction . . .

Typical 0 . . .

To him, the behavior is bad not because it is a breach of trust, morally suspect, tawdry, and/or just play immature.

0 is against the behavior because it is a "distraction."

A distraction from 0 himself, that is.

I think the White House is thrilled with the distraction (albeit they wished it were a “R”) because the important news cycle has not been good for Obama recently. However, few people are paying attention to how bad the economy/debt is due to the endless parade of Weiner.

...President Barack Obama regards it as an unwanted distraction...

As opposed to a wanted distraction? I think he's upset at the timing more than anything else. He needs a distraction later on and knows that we'll get tired of this one soon enough. He sure can't have the buck stopping at him.

Or, is it time to text Weiner and invite him for a photo shoot?

They can't come up with anything better than Clinton talking points?
Having said they, they do have one thing right...it's distracting people from blindly trusting and following this administration and Democrats.
