This is a real insight into Tony Snow the man, and how he was affected by cancer. It is typical of Tony to turn a horrible disease into a blessing in disguise. I do not know how he could be so optimistic and positive in the face of such adversity. It is a lesson I shall always try to apply, but doubt that I will achieve.

Tony was a man of such class—unlike so many of the examples we see today. He could put them all to shame. A real gentle-man. I often thought he was too good to be true. He was too good for this earth. He brought joy to so many people. He was a delight to listen to, awesome to watch. He was here such a short time. I know he has his own little band up in Heaven. I’m sure his dear family can hear him playing.

I need to go offline, but before I go, just a note passed on from Tony's radio producer, “Surfer-boy”. He said Jill and the kids were fairing well. They have changed homes and Jill is now active in the kid's school system.

Our prayers and best wishes go out to Jill and the whole family.

Heh. It’s not like this every week and I don’t work solidly through dinner once I get home. It gets the work done and most times, I can work a lot fewer hours on Friday as the early part of the week is heavy.

God, I miss him. He was the voice of calm when the world seemed to be spiraling out of control. I think of him often.

FINALLY getting here. Thank you Miss save for helping us to remember this wonderful man. It is still hard to believe he is "gone"... but as the old saying goes = NOT FORGOTTEN. So nice to see most of the "old gang" from the snowflake threads. Miss the camaraderie
