Proves to me that the AnointedIdiot's budget was not really a serious budget but a ruse.....and that the Dems are not serious at all about stopping the spending idiocy...that pushing us closer to default is better than passing a responsible budget....which would be two sessions in a row. Awesome..../s =.=

What is hard to figure?

Politics is a profession and generally professionals beat amateurs. Something like the legislature has intricate rules and procedures which require decades to master. This is why seniority becomes so important in the Senate and House. And why parlimentarian experts like Byrd and Hatch and others stay so powerful for so long.

This is not amateur business and never has been contrary to the popular, naive view that we would benefit from electing those who have never served in any substantial office. EVERY ONE of our former presidents had either long political experience or led victorious armies in war.

Our Founding Father were all extensively involved in state and local politics long before the nation declared its independence. This tradition won’t change and for good reason.

Scott Brown (Mass.),

I’m going to call his office tomorrow and tell him I want my contribution back. My butt is sore from kicking it so much.

Here's the Headline: RYAN BUDGET GETS 40 MORE SENATE VOTES THAN OBAMA BUDGET!

I'm sure the NYT is running that Headline as we speak.

This is a very smart move by the dems. - And it also shows their lockstep unity on these matters. -
Obama & the dems had to have had this one planned so he could say I sent in a great budget but its locked up in the Senate.

Meanwhile they use the 5th column to attack everything that the pubs do & highlight the splits in the GOP.

Win win all the way. We could use some of that acumen in our party...

Rand Paul - ostensibly because it didn’t go far enough.

Perfect example of the perfect being the enemy of the (sort-of) good.

Murkowski is not a Republican, she bought the judges to steal the election from the republican.
