Because they're the enemy, remember? We want them to be disheartened at the loss of their leader. We don't want them to convince each other that Osama is like Zorro, still running around defying the US.

And I think you're projecting and making unwarranted judgments about other peoples motivations. Most of us who want to see the photos released are not trying to get some thrill from seeing a bloody corpse - and quite frankly, it's incredibly offensive of you to imply this. Get over yourself.

I never implied, nor do I think, anyone wants to just see a bloody corpse. I think people don’t believe he’s dead. As for the idiot muslims who don’t believe, who gives a crap? They don’t believe Bin Laden was behind 9/11. But relying on a picture to be assured he is dead is very naive. Photos as so easily doctored. If he wasn’t dead, that means the SEALs are in on the hoax. I don’t believe that they would go along with that, do you?
