I doubt it. Royal wedding dresses tend to be more modest designs. I don't understand why so many brides want strapless gowns.
My priest made it very clear that modesty was expected. No bareback and shoulders, pluning necklines. We need more of him. It’s a sacrament, not a cocktail party.
One of my fave shows is “Say Yes to the Dress”. I am just shocked at some of the crap that these brides want to wear today.
I’ve seen these wedding dresses that are like some kind of net over the torso with some kind of “boning” that makes the top of the dress resemble a corset.
It’s just ugly as it is much less supposed to be a wedding dress.
And they all want these “sweetheart” necklines or strapless. I mean, dag, you’d think on your wedding day you’d have a little modesty. This is not some kind of day that you want to make all the males pant and drool for God’s sake.
Kate’s dress was very appropriate for a wedding. I liked it for its simple beauty and it sure seemed to be tailored quite well. Still, it did not have a wow factor that, I dunno, maybe I was expecting from such a high society bride.
But then I thought Princess Diana’s dress was absurd with the lengths it went overboard.
Me too Im so sick of strapless wedding dresses.
