Progressives don't like History as they didn't get to write it.
Except of course with: Lenin & Stalin in the USSR, Pol Pot & Cambodia, Mao & Red China, East Germany and its Stasi, etc, etc. And since those 'progressive experiments' didn't turn out too well they'd rather everyone forget those parts of history ;-)
