As far as the BC issue is concerned, Obama has met the burden of proof - he has provided the BC. If there are concerns about a forgery, then forensic experts will have to provide their proof. While I’m open to the discussion of a forgery, Obama has the benefit of the doubt until something solid is produced.
Remaining questions:
1. Does his father’s citizenship status affect junior’s citizenship status? Is this enough to meet the eligibility language in the Constitution?
2. Did Obama surrender his US citizenship when he relocated to Indonesia? Did he re-apply for citizenship, and if so does the language in the Constitution or the intent of the founders allow the POTUS to temporarily be a citizen of another country?
3. Why did it take so much effort to get this released?
4. Why are his other records still inaccessible?
Another Question:
5. Didn’t Obama say he was not releasing his b.c. because it would cause embarrassment? What was it that he didn’t want to show on this certificate?
Really???
It’s a re release of the COLB and NOT a birth certificate.
Moreover, it’s news to me that they were using the word “African” and not “Negro” in 1961. Hmmmmmm
Moreover the signatures in box 18 and 19 are very similar.
Finally, I’ve seen other COLBs from Hawaii the same year and day... And the form looks different. Some folks have already posted on some of the Free Republic threads. Take a look at it.
