My local RINO county commissioner is touting Mitch: “Mitch Daniels want to declare war on the deficit, like Ike, like the Marshall plan.”
Translation: more big government to solve the problems big government created. These are the same people that brought you the war on Cancer, the war on drugs, the war on poverty, the war on terrorism....

He gave a terrific speech at CPAC. Referred to Obama’s overspending as the “red menace.” I think he would wipe up the floor with Obama in a debate. He’s a smart guy who comes across as a modest, real human being, not a phoney. Very low key self-deprecating sense of humor. A stark contrast to Obama. He supposedly has been an excellent governor in Indiana running the state in the black, attracting new businesses, cutting the size and cost of government. If he favors affirmative action and open borders, though, I will not support him despite his fiscal conservatism.
