John Kennedy was thought to be too young. etc. Plus he was catholic.
It is simply one of many ideas to spread across the nation, since there has never been a female President, it is an idea some might need to get used too.
I agree with her. It is good to bring it up in the over all picture. Certainly not a main issue.
We all know the opponents seek and desire to kill with/by twisting any and every remark into the opposite of which it was said. Nothing new about this. Best not to focus on a side issue. It plays into the oppositions hands. MO
I liked the line where she said she wasn’t the agent of change becauseshe wasn’t on the top of the ticket...
LOL
By now you have found out who the real haters are here. But you are correct.
thanks.....you got a link?
Know anyone more principled than Sarah Palin?
Principles are fine but the most principled person in the world is worthless as a president if they can't achieve results. Palin has an impressive record of results. If you haven't done so, I recommend you read her books.
It’s time to elect the person with the most balls, Sarah Palin! Man or Women.
As far as useless, I wouldn’t say that per say. I posted it mainly to see if my contention that most of the ABP people were also sexists were true. I blew the dog whistle and they came out in droves....
Being a woman is not identity politics. Claiming we should vote for a woman because she is a woman, is. Btw, this article doesnt actually quote her saying that, so I havent leveled that criticism at Palin.
Your argument about men is the same as the argument about white guys. IF we dont elect a black guy in 08, then when?
How do you know that Palin will get the magical number of women to vote for her? Dems have been getting 90+% of black votes for decades. Nothing really changed in that regard. Obama got white guys to vote for him.
I really dont think that Dems are as scared of Palin as some Palin supports are scared that she wont get the nomination.
I'm with you! But what do we need to do? I'll start posting in those forums if got links to those forums of American women who need to be informed that Sarah Palin is not a man that she is actually a woman?
I mean, some things just are obvious, I thought.

Posted at #59 of this very thread, btw.
Apparently you haven't been keeping up. An appearance by Sarah Palin can sell out a multi-thousand person venue with ease and her audiences are always very enthusiastic. Her two books have sold millions of copies and the left goes bananas every time she so much as sends a 'tweet'. That the vicious, 24/7 attacks on the woman by the liberal media, politicians on the left and right as well as Hollywood airheads haven't completely sunk Palin is a testament to her personal resilience and her popularity. That 'groundswell of support' you question is clearly evident on conservative websites such as this and with the general public, who don't share the cynical outlook some have about politics but simply know a leader when they see one. A person who is 'authentic' and won't play the games most politicians play. Sarah Palin is that person - and her support is out there.
The media will run fake polls that conclude she is irrelevant (how convenient) and the leftist pundits will try to laugh her off while the Republican honchos will sniff that she 'can't win'. Yeah, right. That's why the left ignores all the other GOP presidential nomination contenders but goes ballistic over Palin...because she doesn't matter. Who are they kidding? Not many - and even less here on FR. Sure, we have our anti-Palin posters, which is natural on a politically-based message board/website but they, while busy, are a distinct minority. The support is there but until Palin announces and starts a campaign, it won't be that evident outside of conservative venues.
thx
Good one!!!!
There are also the anti Palin’s trying marginalize her supporters by saying they are “just voting for a woman”.
Honestly I haven't heard anyone come close to expressing the ideals and ideas that I have heard from her.
My biggest comfort is remembering the garbage that was thrown against Reagan.
Sadly I was a stupid college student at that time who didn't appreciate who Reagan was.
That's a good thing! She will catch the democrats off guard on election day. I prefer that the democrats think she will be easy to beat.
She gave no reason why she thinks it's time.
Here are three possible reasons why she might think it is.
1.) Simply being female makes one a better candidate.
2.)Simply being female doesn't make one a better candidate, but in the interest of quotas, a female should be president.
3.)The current crop of male candidates appear to be cowards, while the two most couragously conservative candidates are female.
Which of the above three reasons do you guess she thinks?
I would prefer a candidate that isn’t a narcissist be it male or female.
I am still waiting.
