How are they not being treated equally? Is a government agency keeping them from entering?
Or do you think that female candidates should not be evaluated and criticized like their male counterparts? Does being treated equally to you mean that criticism shouldnt be allowed?
As for your final question, I dont deal in hypotheticals. They arent real.
I believe Palin would be better than Obama.

Sorry, I just posted to you without indicating to what I was referring.
Here’s what I meant:
There are some things that a politician should not joke about. One of those things is identity politics as applied to that particular politician.
Palin should know this.

you opposed to her no matter what she says or does Well, if that's true. Sarah Palin has yet to win those people over. Perhaps her strategy needs some changing?
Remember, It's up to the candidate to convince the voters.

The genetalia of said person isnt important. That's what Methodists say about pastors.

I just cant stand the term RINO. Its just a lazy argument in my opinion.
“I’ll call you a name and that way the debate can be ended without substance.”

As do I. the reverse is also true is it not. I don't like someone saying they should not be something just because of what gender they are.
Most of the ABP folks entire argument comes down to she is a woman and therefore unpresidential and lacking gravitas....because what is more unpresidential than being a woman? which is the exactly what ROVe his saying when he attacks her as being unpresidential. Name another candidate that has had that attack line thrown at them.

Perhaps that's what she was thinking We can make assumptions on what Palin "means" all we want. That doesn't change the statement.

Well, when I look around the GOP I dont see (m)any males s who arent squishes Sorry, but that's the dumbest justification for identity politics I've heard yet.
Why don't you just vote for a black man, any black man, because when you look around all the white men you see are squishes?
Please.

found Rand Paul and Paul Ryan are RINOs threads.
It is Ok to call someone a RINO if they say something you don't like , didn't you know? :).

Very well said. I, too, will look elsewhere.

LOL, before I’d read downthread, I posted the same thing in response: You know this how?
Then I went back and clarified.

You want someone who kept $12 billion in the government coffers as opposed to in the free market?

The only thing missing from some of these posts is...
"Some of my best friends are women."

The forum is very guilty of RINO creep.
It has taken on the definition of “any one that doesn’t fit within the parameters of my extremely narrow minded views.”

May be true, but then vote for these women because of what they stand for and how they pursue it, not because “it’s time for a woman President.”
The fangirly segment of Palin’s base is not doing her any favors, IMHO.

To 25 - Mrs Palin was (regrettably) serious in her statement. Hardly "tongue in cheek".
It's pathetic how some of her supporters blatantly lie about her or things she has said or done.
And if she's going to bring up former presidents she might consider a little less Lincoln and a lot more Jefferson.

Too bad, that’s the way it goes in politics.
A politician has to have some sense of what will make the headline and this boneheaded, unnuanced statement was bound to.
