Buck and Ringo....I was so surprised when they came out with that song.

I wasn’t surprised at all - just that it took so long. Buck Owens wrote “Act Naturally” and Ringo had a bigger hit with it on Beatles ‘65 than the old Buckaroo himself. Both were Capitol Records artists and no doubt, Buck (and his estate) gets a very nice royalty check each year. It seemed a natural duet, it just took Buck’s fan base a few decades to accept that The Beatles were nore than just a fad. All the Beatles had huge respect for American musicians, but Ringo was the closet cowboy.
