“Golly, this man is a moron.”
Yea, real idiot for wanting to stop your tax dollars to go to a man like this:

Red, meet herring. Mubarek's fortune came almost entirely from skimming the Egyptian economy. Every deal that was done with a western company in Egypt the last 35 years, had to pay Mubarek a cut.
Not only did he not get the (alleged) $70B from US, we haven't even given Egypt a fraction of that. And, almost all of the money we've given to Egypt has come in the form of either AG subsidies (that means US grown grain), and direct military aid - which predominately came in the form of credits to the Egyptian government to buy US made weapons.
But sure, keep repeating the Ron Paul "we made Hosni Mubarek rich" mantra - you might just find a few idiots who buy it.
Don't worry though, soon all that cash will be skimmed by the Muslim Brotherhood, which they then can funnel to their favorite Islamic Terrorist group de jour. That, I'm sure, will work out much better for us.
WWII ended in 1945 and we are still occupying Europe.
The Berlin wall fell and the Soviet Union collapsed and we are still occupying Europe.
Our aerospace companies compete against European Aerospace to sell fighters and other military equipment around the world and we are still occupying Europe.
Hmmm...
The world was a much more dangerous place 400 years ago.
Has your town's population ever been cut in half in a year by the plague? Had any children taken as a blood tax by the Ottomans? Know any family members sold into slavery after being captured by pirates? Will your family starve to death this winter because your small plot of barley failed?
I think there is a significant chance you don't understand the definition of "occupying".
I'm not for isolation nor our being world cop. We do have interests to protect, including our relationships with allies. It's not all or nothing. We can't afford either of those.
