Wow, it took them this long to figure out that Zer0 is clueless? Maybe they should look in the mirror.

Do you know what “ostensibly” means?

What comes next could very well be ElFaradei. (sp?)

This guy is nutz. He’s not a friend of Israel. He’s not a friend of reason in Egypt. He leans toward the Muslim Brotherhood end of the spectrum.

I predict that eighteen months from now, nobody from Egypt will admit they were in the streets the last few weeks.

Many will begin to look back on Mubarak with a ‘those were the days’ attitude.

Now, 5 years down the road, they may remember Mubarak with some fondness.

Yah. In a few years, they might be looking back on Mubarak's rule a the good ol' days.

Obama’s not clueless. He’s evil. The Administration did everything it could to bring down Mubarak and pave the way for a quick transition to a government including “nonsecular” actors. That is code for the Muslim Brotherhood. Further, the sudden turning on an ally of 30 years will have grave repercussions on our relationships with other allies. Who will trust us? Who will risk anything for for us? Obama has a twofer; He brought down Mubarak and diminished the US. The only hope is that a military government will slow things down and allow time groups other than the MB to get organized and prevent a MB takeover at the ballot box.

And when the MB takes over they’ll have a well armed, well trained, military at their disposal... courtesy of the U.S.A.

Nice job protecting our interests, Obama!

So they agree with “most” of the Freepers here.

I say “most” because while I haven't seen a poll, I have seen some who think the unknown is better than Mubarak.

Even though historically speaking, any Egyptian Christians should fear for their lives right about now. Big time!!!

”No one in Obama admin thinks U.S. better off after Mubarak overthrow“

Should read:

No one in Obama admin thinks!

Better!!

I don’t think Obama is “clueless.” He’s an ideologue. Egypt’s downfall scores points with the American left. That’s what matters to Obama.

Didn’t we do this thirty-some years ago to Iran?”

The Islamic Revolution in Iran came exactly 32 years ago today.

Brought down the Shah & got us what we have today there.

The Religious radicals were irate that the Shah wanted to educate all the females in the country & try to prepare the country for the 21st century. The fanatic towelheads couldn’t stand that thought- & with Carter in the White House, they knew they sould not get any backlash from the USA.

Is the U.S. still sending Egypt our taxpayers’ 1+ billion dollars?

****The Religious radicals were irate that the Shah wanted to educate all the females in the country & try to prepare the country for the 21st century.******

This is also what happened when the Russians took over Afghanistan. The planned education of women blew the lid off the pressure cooker there.

Even I don't think that, and I've been emotionally torn on this entire issue. Who is trying to suggest such a thing?

Flame as you wish, but publicly voicing support for a dictator over an angry population was simply not an option, unless you want to call into question every pronouncement we have made on the international stage for the past 60 years or more.

I am more and more convinced he is the Socialist Islamic Manchurian President. He does everything he can to support a leftist overthrown dictator in Honduras but then undermines and ultimately overthrows Mubarak. He makes the US look like it can’t be trusted in the process.

Obama is dangerous...at best he lacks any coherent foreign policy or understanding of foreign relations. Either he’s an amateur or he is diabolical.

1) The MSM is running interference for the Regime. Ignorance is preferred to structured meddling. They are creating plausible deniability for their 2+ year organizational support effort with the MB through Ayers, Code Pink, etc.

2) When you wake up a bunch of 5 year olds at 3am, they're going to be incoherent and useless as sources of information.

Today is a good day to die.
I didn't say for whom.

Those unknown ones on Michelle’s specific ‘invite only’ listening in ‘conference call’ are the ones we should be worry about.

What IS a ‘conference call’ from the FLOTUS office to so-called journalists that they can only listen in?

This is like ‘receiving instructions’. Not even collaborating any more.

But they’ll still out-perform the gang at the Obama White House....
