Just don't put a cross on it lest it wind up covered with a tarp so as not to offend Moslems.

I am a 49 yr old marine corps Veteran. My name is Mac Mcquown and I am undertaking a tremendous venture. A walk of over 15,000 miles. This will be a two fold mission.
1) to raise awareness for all veterans. All veterans that have served bravely & unselfishly in our nation's armed forces in both past & current conflicts & to raise funds for all paralyzed & wounded veterans.
2) to also raise funds for a great monument to be placed in both the Midwest and on the West Coast. Just as there are veteran monuments in Washington D.C., so that all may pay tribute and show respect for all those who have served our great nation.
I will accomplish this mission by walking to the capital steps in all 48 states (not including Alaska or Hawaii) to walk the roads of this incredible nation. In doing so showing my undying respect for all those who have served. Some have suggested that my mission as "impossible." I say that impossible is an opinion "not" a fact. I believe we can pull together as a nation to help me help the millions of veterans throughout our great nation.
Departing from Ground Zero in New York City on Sept 11th 2011
I find it strange that someone claiming to have served eight years in the Marines would misspell Corps.
Good luck, but I would rather you walked to each state to ask the citizens to arms against the Zero and our enemies in Washington DC.
