The message said to get info from the Internet, which as you note is down. She said the message also said if this was an emergency press (whatever) and then she was put on interminable hold.
The woman, Laura Murphy Lee, also said she spoke with the U.S. ambassador to Egypt. She said the ambassador was clueless as to how dangerous it is on the streets. She also said the ambassador told her she should be happy that she was safe on a ship.
