The Seven Day War in 1967 was my first exposure to the turmoil in the Middle East and the hatred most of the world held for Israel. I was in the 7th grade then. As my high school years passed,
Up until then it was all about the Russians dropping the bomb. One more thing to worry about when I went to bed at night.

I was in the middle of high school back then. It sure made Israel’s plight crystal clear.
I remember running duck and cover drills, around the time of the Cuban Missile Crisis.
