...... Whoo boy.... At the very least, they have figured out what we all knew years ago - that O is in WAY over his head.

Carter was in over his head. Obama is actively supporting the Muslim Brotherhood.

3 private jets leave Cairo airport under heavy security; parliament speaker to make major announcement - NBC

That is actually very good news. A quick turnover, before things descend into total chaos, is about the best we can hope for at this point. If things totally break down, the Muslim Brotherhood, being the most organized and best funded of the resistance groups, would take over. A quick turnover might mean the difference between a military dictator like Kadafi and psyco mullah like Khomeini. Neither is going to be to our liking, but at least Kadafi reacts well to threats.

Al Qaeda is not the middle class.

It’s titular heads may be (and its covert agents in the US,) but its strength is in the streets.

Blitzer on right now. Coverage just deteriorated by 80 percent. Can’t tell the difference between Blitzer and Smith over at Fox. I’m going to see if CNN HN has different coverage.

Blitzer: Obama hasn’t spoken with Mubarak as of 5PM EDT. Even if Mubarak is on a G6, you’d think they could reach him. How much you think is in Mubarak’s Swiss Bank Account?

The writing is on the wall. Bush tried it the kindler gentler way. Islam is a deranged death cult.

I understand. That’s been my take on it too.

It’s my take that as a Christian nation, we are making a massive mistake by moving Islamicists here. I would rather see us draw the line and let them live in peace in the Middle-East and Asia, and keep the Western world for the Christians to live in.

We’re manipulating a situation that will see Christians living in strife everywhere.

We are sewing the seeds of world unrest.

And when would have been the right time to publicly throw him under the bus?

1992. We could have basically given him a big paycheck and allowed him to retire and pick his successor. The USSR was no longer a threat. After Desert Storm and before Somalia everyone in the Middle East dropped a brick when an M1 reved its engine so none of the locals would have messed with us. And at that point all the oil in the ME was under the tracks or within the range of an American tank's guns. That was the only time it could have been done, but Bush 1 and Clinton blew the opportunity.

After Somalia and especially after 9/11 we no longer had the street cred in the Middle East to pull it off.

Careful, you will confuse the young ones.

If they can't get the reference, that's what Google is for.

The ruling class and key players in Egyptian government have left the country, to save their own butts.

Smart move on their part...Governments in most other countries, are no doubt watching very closely.
