From FOX:
DEVELOPING: Loud explosions and gunfire were heard in the Egyptian capital of Cairo Friday, as protesters demanding the removal of President Hosni Mubarak defied a curfew, Al Jazeera reported. Egyptian television reports the ruling party headquarters in Cairo are on fire.
From TWITTER:
WashingtonPost: Clinton: We urge #Egypt authorities to allow peaceful protest, reverse unprecedented steps it has taken to cut off communications less than 20 seconds ago
Agreed
brother, do I ever hope that is a unfounded rumor, with nothing to it!
Repeated your post. “How closely allied is the Muslim Brotherhood with revolutionary socialism?”
Worth checking into:

Assuming he hasn't voted "present" for his national security briefings?
Golf is a game that needs constant practice, you know.
Look, I don’t think that’s a completely off the wall thought, but the ability to network is like feeding fuel to the fire.
Leave it off for a few days and allow the situation to calm down. Then reinstate it.
I would not advocate that here, unless the socialists were attempting to over-throw our government.
There are no absolutes. There are instances where you have to make case by case judgments about things we wouldn’t like to see take place.
CNN reporting that Egypt’s top military people have been meeting with their US counter parts this week. They are in DC today. Those meetings have been cut short, and CNN doesn’t know whether those senior military officials will be returning to Egypt, but its likely they will.
How are airports in DC today? Are they open? Andrews AFB flying today?
Maybe he's out looking for his birth certificate.
Do you think Obama takes all of these vacations as practice for when he flees the country into exile?

Yes he does. Poorly kept secret. His hut in Kenya is on 24/7 standby. Price on his head - yet to be determined.
Er.. That worked well in Tunisia.
@iowahawkblog The Middle East is in chaos; has anyone checked the local D.C. golf courses for Nobel Peace Prize winner Barack Obama?
lol, so true.
What is the truth? I have read both now. Is the military, or are the protestors, protecting the treasures at the Museum??
“”I hate to blame the CIA here for anything going on right now in the Obama admin, but I wonder what the CIA has been feeding Obama in the last three weeks with respect to Egypt and Tunisia?””
My concern is that what they were telling him - is exactly what he wanted to hear... and that is what is happening.

Just went out for a bit and came in to hear Michael Schuer (sp?) telling Neil this is incredibly serious for Israel and Israel “may not make it”...
This- on the day that one of the FEW in D.C. that I thought had an intelligent view, Rand Paul, calls for ALL aid to Israel to be cut (in the interest of the deficit).
That really shook me up- I expect that from his father- but I thought Rand was a little more sensible.

Good timing by the MB.
I don’t object to you correcting me, but I’m not sure why you felt you had to do it as you did. A simple, “Don’t forget about the ‘73 war and it’s impact on the peace process. IMO, that was the driving force between their agreements.”
We both want the full story told, and I don’t mind you explaining why my ‘67 reference wasn’t as valid as I first thought it was.
The important thing here is that Egypt and Israel did form a working relationship. I don’t have to be 100% right about what brought that on. Correct me when necessary. I’ll appreciate it.
Turning off the Internet here in the states would be akin to throwing dynamite into the fire.
