Does raising from the dead ever happen many years after a person’s death? It seems like most of these accounts involve people dead for only a short time.
Yeah...really...only 3 days? You call that dead?? I call it dead...dead is dead. Alive is alive!! Haleleuia!!
I don’t know if your question is sincere or not, but I will answer you as if it is:
I am not aware of any accounts of “raising” someone who has been dead for many years. That would seem to present many problems from a practical standpoint, including the corruption or deterioration of the physical body, which was a concern even over Lazarus, who had been dead only three days.
As far as resurrection, which every orthodox Christian believes in, that has happened to none so far, excepting Jesus. God will do whatever he needs to, and only He is capable of, in bringing the deceased back into a bodily form for judgment unto eternal life or eternal death.
