16 Flood Victims Raised from the Dead in Brazil Saturday, January 22, 2011 By Bethel Church (RSS)
A nurse is leading a mission team of doctors and nurses to Brazil. They left on Jan 13, 2011. They are still there until the 28th. On the 12th there had been massive flooding in Brazil and over 600 people died. They were not going for this reason but the timing of their trip just happened to coincide.
Only one on the team had ever experienced the power of the Holy Spirit or miracles for that matter!! She had asked her friends to pray, and they did.

Probably because they weren’t dead.
How many stories do you read of people who are about to be embalmed or who have had the sheet pulled over and pronounced dead, yet they are not?
How many “victims” from these disasters in villages and third-world type places do you think are pronounced dead when they might not be? Oh, they’re cold and lifeless, just put them over there til we can deal with it..yeah.
I'm willing to risk it.
Randall!
People who fear death are ignorant of their own existence...
Hello?
In many such cases . . . monitoring equipment has verified
no brain waves
no heart beats
no breathing
temperature dramatically cooling.
What, pray tell, is your definition of death?
Worms crawling in and out?
Hello?
Evidently you think that the qualified nurse mentioned in this case is a brain dead witch doc?
Well put.
Thx. Bro.
The Biblical ignorance of some naysayers is dreadful.
you know this how?
Thanks for pinging me. I am always a bit surprised by the immediate smackdown inflicted on any poster who offers an insight into the presence of Holy Spirit, unfiltered by doubt. Theology has a lot to answer for; in some folks it is just an excuse to be offended.

Um, Paul WAS a first-century apostle. Try again.
It’s not blasphemy of the Holy Ghost. I never said I did not believe God can heal through prayer if it is within his will.
Keep believing in the Benny Hinn types and giving him your money.
I don’t put God in a box. You guys put God in a box. God has revealed Himself through the Bible, not fables.
Yesterday this “Healing Herald” article, that is linked directly under the FR headline, had a .pdf file that was claimed to be from a Brazilian newspaper supporting this story.
Today, the article at “HealingHerald.org” has been changed. The linked .pdf file has been removed and replaced with the following text (about half way down the page)....
“ARTICLE REMOVED for further investigation.”
Mighty is the Lord.
Jesus is Lord over life and death.
Thank you !!!
The Dalai Lama goes to hell while my hellish sister, in church every Sunday morning, to heaven? I don’t believe that!
No. I have no idea of her qualifications. I was simply offering a plausible rationale for people coming “back to life” when thought dead. In fact, one of the cases they say they were going to administer CPR but voila they didn’t need to. So that resurrection can hardly be claimed. The article at the healing website is slipshod and short on facts. The newspaper article is not online (that newspaper is online, including back articles), the photos are meaningless (yeah, these are the blankets...).
Additionally, according to that Brazilian newspaper, the little town (Caleme) was basically declared inaccessible but to the people stuck there and the bulldozers attempting to clean up so rescue/recovery could start. That was on the 14th. On the 15th, it was decided in Teresopolis that all the bodies not properly stored in the morgue would be frozen for safety reasons since identification was taking a while.
I never doubt the power of the Most High.
I do however, doubt the veracity of vague third hand stories.
I’ve also got to wonder about a “medical team” that was hanging around the morgue rather than actively helping the rescuers or attending to injured.
Are you claiming these people have resurrection bodies?
Hmmmmmmmm
Will see how it filters out, I guess.
Tell me what happened! How wonderful!
