You are right. How this all plays out is really up to Sarah. Every single time she is bashed, she is out right then and there to put the BS sign up. This time she is not and that is weird.
She’ll be on Fox News tonight I’m sure ... How sad for her, I’m sure she feels terrible for all those killed and injured, and now her political enemies try to make her the 2nd shooter. It’s sickening honestly.
The use of rifle sights in political literature or images is a general METAPHOR commonly understood in the English language to indicate zooming in on a target.
For example, “I have my sights set on this person, or institution, or amendment...”. It is NOT meant to be taken literally! ie, it does not mean “I am using my rifle sights so that I can shoot my rifle at that person, (or institution, or amendment...)”
Only desperate, cynical supporters of big zero Obama could read into the metaphorical cross-hairs on Palin’s map any actual lethal intention to kill a person!
But to throw lying dust into people’s eyes in order to protect fraudster Obama from answering any real questions is normal behaviour for gutter politicians and their corrupt media mouthpieces.
She doesn't wish to interrupt the enemy yet, as they are still shooting themselves in the feet.
Some thoughts:

Why must Palin respond to baseless and absurd accusations right this very moment IF EVER?
Second, I learned long ago that in a public fight BOTH participants get bloody. Impartial witnesses to a fight see blood on both participants and attribute both with negative thought. There is a reason the phrase "rising above the fray" is used -it means something and I would suggest it is just what Sarah is doing. The facts keep coming in and the idiots keep up their lunacy regardless the fact... LET THEM FALL ON THEIR FACES ALL ON THEIR OWN -no push necessary...
Palin clearly offered condolences and decried the tragedy. I do not consider it a negative, those that suggest, because she has not dived into the mud pit to wrestle the pigs she is somehow responsible...
This is a turning point BUT not for Palin -for America... Americans will see now more clearly what lunacy and vitriol the left is all about.
Sarah stand back, turns the other cheek and lets them make *sses of themselves. THIS take strength -not to react when reaction is in no way beneficial but only possibly emotional is strength.
Sarah shows the measured restraint one would expect from a great leader. She is the exact opposite of 0zero the community organizing rabble rouser...
