Still does not explain the heat source that is clearly visible to the naked eye in the video. Whatever it is, it’s kicking out some thrust!!
Personally, I think it’s all part and parcel of making the US third world country. Navy senior leadership over the past two or three decades has shown a decidedly feminine leftist best. Air Force isn’t far behind, although it has the distinction of losing one nuke and almost losing another. The Army is trying hard to catch up with likes of Gen. McChrystal.
This last Bernake fiasco is recoverable, but it will be very tough. The conservatives we elected better do what they were sent to Washington to do from day one. Skipping the so-called Congressional “orientation” (aka indoctrination) and saving the country is what they need to be doing.
The world should have noticed by now that claims of Bigfoot and Chupacabras and UFOs have steadily declined since the time when practically every person on the planet now has a HD-capable video camera on their $49.99 cell phone.
... Or, Freepers can just fly off the handle insisting that a Chinese or Iranian SSBN submarine brazenly launched an ICBM just a short distance from Catalina Island.
Hasn't anyone learned from the 'Balloon Boy' hysteria that the live TV news video of the homemade silver mylar balloon they were watching was five feet in diameter and totally incapable of carrying a little boy? On the live video, it seemed like the balloon was bigger than the Goodyear blimp, right up until it crashed into a plowed wheatfield and was grabbed single-handedly by a sheriff's deputy which not only revealed it's true size, but that the ballon couldn't have even carried a can of soup into the sky.
Maybe this was an accidental launch of something we are not supposed to know about and are not about to learn about any time soon, They hope.
Exactly. Thank you.
Will, speaking of not being too ready to believe what folks are saying...
upon further investigation, I’m of the opinion that the NOTAM data I posted has nothing to do with our mystery missile. “VCV” is the airspace in and around the airport at Victorville, CA (KVCV), entirely the opposite direction from LAX (KZLA) that you’d expect if it applied to the event we’re discussing on this thread.
The NOTAM regards operations of unmanned aircraft below 5400ft within 5 nautical miles of the Victorville facility and advises avoidance. Turns out the city of Victorville is [fanfare] 5 nautical miles from the airport, and runway elevation is 2885ft above sea level.
So, what it looks like is some retired guys or school kids had plans on the books to operate R/C aircraft or engage in a little hobby rocketry at or below 2500feet above ground level during school hours Monday-Wendesday this week.
Definitely not sea-launched missile related.
Oddly enough, I remember his name off the top of my head. Matthias Rust.
Bad day for PVO Strany.
I'm sorry I don't see that in the video. Certainly nothing like the flame coming out of a missile. I have trouble seeing any flame at all.
Whatever it is, its kicking out some thrust!!
I agree with you there.
Yup. VERY conclusive to me. Thanks for the post!
Everyone on this thread should have a look at #213 .
Do you have the link please.
Maybe we have ourselves a blended scenario here, not a missile but not a normal airplane either. I don’t doubt that the air force has plenty of unusual craft that haven’t been showcased yet.
Have you seen the video? No way that is a contrail from a plane. No way.
“Did you see Shep interviewing the retired Admiral?”
I didn’t see that interview.
What did the Admiral say?
Thanks
One foggy, windy summer night i was on a cape cod beach and decided to try to fly my kite. I ties 3 green mini-glow sticks to the tie hole of the kite.
up in the sky it lookes it a hovering green glob in the foggy night.
The next day at breakfast at our beach hotel everybody was talking about the “UFO” they all saw the night before.
What i’m saying is this missile launch could be a lot of things.
With the stuff one can buy from Home depot, Chems from the internet and with all the info one is willing to dig for i could imagine this was a crazy stunt launch from some joe.
Maybey adding some chemicals for the contrail smoke effect.
Wouldn’t a plane making a contrail have put out a transponder signal? If so, would there be a record of the ping “trail” anywhere?
