Crap! Karl Rove is on Fox News tonight and is sitting there with a smug grin and just seems giddy - talking over the other panel memberss, etc.

He must be so proud of his efforts to defeat O'Connell.

Don’t blame Rove for O’Donnell’s loss. Blame her. Rove, whether we all like it or not, has been right on the contests he raised questions about. I DO believe it is better for a Christine O’Donnell to lose than a Mike Castle win but I ALSO understand what Rove believes. And I don’t blame him. He’s right in the short term and wrong in the long term, IMO.

I don’t blame Rove for the loss. I blame Rove for what he did, trashing a Republican candidate.

An O’Donnell victory wouldn’t have erased the crime, but it would have made it largely moot. As it is, she lost, and Rove, not the Democrats, struck the first blow against her.

babble-on: “But sometimes it just goes too far, as in Del.”

A valid point. Perhaps we did reach too far in Delaware, but the RINOs didn’t help. I admit she’s a bit quirky, personality-wise, but she’s solid on the issues. In other words, any reservations I had about her had absolutely nothing to do with her reliability as a conservative vote.

By encouraging the Republican Party in DE to oppose her, not help her, leaving her fighting both sides.
