"We have a lousy Supreme Court decision that has opened the floodgates, and so we have to deal within the realm of constitutionality. And a lot of the campaign finance bills that we have passed have been declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. I think the Constitution is wrong. I don’t think that money is the same thing as human beings," Rep. Jim McGovern (D-MA) said at a debate Wednesday. He was commenting on the Citizens United v. FEC decision.

How to know you’re an idiot:

If you say the words “I think the Constitution is wrong” you’re an idiot

Many people, at many times in the past, have thought the Constitution was wrong. They amended it. That’s how it’s done. Having judges adjudicate “corrections” is NOT how it’s done.

P.S. Nobody said money was the same as people, not even the Constitution.

' I think the Constitution is wrong.'

Go shit in your ushanka.

"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

I’m opposed to “gotcha” politics for anyone.
The Rat use unfortunate phraseology and that’s all it was.

She probably wants to change her oath of office to, I swear to protect and defend the constitution...Except for the parts I think are wrong...” One second thought, why would she bother? Democrats don’t care about oaths, they just look at them a silly little traditions from a bygone era that they can freely ignore.

If Mr. McGovern is of the opinion that the Constitution is wrong on some matter, he is, I hope, aware of what he needs to do: convince 2/3 of both houses of Congress and majorities in (both houses, save in Nebraska) of the legislatures of 3/4 of the several states, or alternatively like majorities at and of a national and state Constitutional conventions that he is right and the Constitution is wrong.

"I think the Constitution is wrong."

There you have it. This brazen wrong-headedness is absolutely representative of the modern DemocRat Party. These clowns MUST and WILL be purged from elective office beginning 11/2/10. We owe it to the heroes of the Founding ... and we have a responsibility to preserve freedom from Fat Cat Greedy Big Government for future generations of Americans.

That should be used in advertising from here on out ... the Dems think the Constitution, which they have sworn to uphold, is “wrong.” Pin that to ‘em and make ‘em admit it’s their position. Make ‘em wear it like a label. It fits.

He must be referring to Roe Vs Wade

I don’t think that money is the same thing as human beings,"...

However, in the deep dark shadowy abyss, where penumbras thrive, the Constitution makes it clear that political donations from Union dues are not only legal, but should be mandatory and FDIC insured.

OK, so let’s re-issue the Declaration of Indpendence, against Washington DC, and have a do-over!
