Where did I say it was a certified copy? You show me that. It seems to me that it is OBVIOUS that this is NOT a certified copy, and NO WHERE have I said that it is. I was asked by ONAKA himself, if I needed an certified copy or not on Monday Sept 27th. I answered honestly that I did not know. And that is the truth. I didn’t know from the organization I am applying to, if they needed a certified copy or not. Onaka chose to send me an un-certified copy. If that is not sufficient for the organization for which I need it, I will ask yet again and specify that I do need that certified copy. I know exactly who I need to talk to about it as well.
The point being, I was ASKED which one I needed.
What has been posted is a copy made for me by the Hawaii Department of Health. The receipt which shows I paid 10$ for it is ALSO pictured. If you LOOK at the thing notice something different??? Come on pay attention!
Look the bottom of it. The HDOH copy has something that MY copy for the same document does NOT. It has an identification of RACE for both of my parents. The copy made for my by my Mother in 2000 DOES NOT HAVE THAT. Quite literally the copy sent to me by HDOH and mailed Sept 30th 2010, has MORE information on it than any other record I previously have owned.
The date of issuance is the same date as is on the receipt.

I’m not trying to stand up for Mr Rogers. I simply think Ron mistook a comment not meant for him. And while Ron and I have had heated, unpleasant conversations on these threads, he has never taken those debates to an inappropriate level. And I truly don’t think Mr Rogers was implying that Ron had done so.

Since that happened, I take screen shots of my post regarding the girlyman!
I first asked the involved Admin mod, WHY my post was removed, and he chose not to answer. So as a donating member, I went directly to the top with same question, and Jim answered and said that it was a complaint from Mr Rogers that I was using personal information about his family members to “attack”(?) him and that the moderator agreed and pulled the post!!
I’m still wondering where the “attack” comes into the picture, which is something he always hide behind and goes to the mods for help when he is challenged more than he likes. Other FReepers was also addressed on the same post and have found NO private attacks against his wife. So it’s just a question how and WHO is slicing the “Belony.” I approve of this message and stand behind it!!!

Sorry, but this is inaccurate. Indonesian law allows an adopted child under the age of 5 to automatically become an Indonesian citizen. Indonesia does not recognize dual citizenship. The U.S. nationality law at the time prevented loss of nationality if the parent applies for naturalization in another country, but as written, Obama did not need to naturalize to become an Indonesian citizen. It would have been automatic. The loss of nationality law also prevents naturalization of the child because the parent naturalizes, but Lolo Soetoro was already an Indonesian citizen and would have had no need to naturalize. Third, the law didn't prevent a minor from disavowing his own U.S. citizenship (which may have been required for Obama). The law was changed in 1986 and is now much more protective than it was in 1965.
I would also add that this idea about loss of citizenship is not a long established principle consistent with the history of this nation, but is instead a product of progressive 20th century statutes. We know this because in WKA it said, "neither he nor his parents acting for him ever renounced his allegiance to the United States," which clearly indicates that it was understood that parents could renounce the allegiance (and thus, the citizenship) of their child. The WKA decision mentions it again at the end of the decision, "Upon the facts agreed in this case, the American citizenship which Wong Kim Ark acquired by birth within the United States has not been lost or taken away by anything happening since his birth. No doubt he might himself, after coming of age, renounce this citizenship ..." This clearly acknowledges that a minor COULD lose his citizenship from an act of the parents, or on his own after coming of age.
So, I see now you’ve labeled your ping list that

your stating the “allows debate” comment, because
it’s more than tolerance and allowing, as evidenced

In the Constitutional eligibility issue, barring the
exclusion of any potential prohibitive foreign national
citizenship that could be confirmed, I don’t know what
instrument and how else your belief (and most of ours,
based on his heresay) could at least begin to provide
the very basic and fundamental proof of that very
elementary birth cert we all have, and have to have; i.e.,
some conclusively and officially confirming validation of
SOMETHING of his actual origins.
Give me a clue.
