Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin took the stage at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina on Harbor Island just after 8 p.m. Saturday to address a large crowd of supporters and journalists whod gathered in a ballroom to hear her introduce a senatorial candidate.
The former GOP Vice Presidential nominee and Tea Party Movement favorite was expected to introduce her fellow Alaskan, Republican Senate candidate Joe Miller, at a political fundraiser promoting former combat veterans running for U.S. Congress next month.
Palin, standing in front of a row of American flags on stage, took shots at what she called the "lamestream media," saying, that when the media "just doesn't get it and when they don't believe what perhaps your message is so they want to belittle you and mock you and treat you with much disdain, you know, I think, well they can do that to me, that's fine, because I know truth."
She went on, "You know what, you can say whatever you want to say about me but I raised a combat vet and you can't take that away from me."
The event was organized by the political action committee Combat Veterans for Congress. Tickets cost $300 and up per person, and about 500 people were expected to attend the event, titled "Patriotic Gala." Among the local congressional candidates attending were Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Alpine, and Republican congressional candidates Nick Popaditch, who is running in the 51st District, and Michael Crimmins, who is running in the 53rd district.

LOL. Yes, LA is overrun with illegals and libtards I can recall the days when I would take the bus from West LA (Santa Monica Beach to downtown LA) with my cousins to go shopping in the NICE department stores. Well, imagine doing *that* today? Not on your life!
I haven’t either. Not for at least a year.
We've got a bunch up here in N. Ca too- an area with a lot of conservatives (in the valley).
I'm looking for the "OOPS!" sticker, where the 'Os' are filled in to look like Obama's pre-presidential seal, or was that the Pepsi logo? Someone sent me an email with a bunch of Obama-spoof stickers and it was hilarious.
Well the malls here are still alright. I mainly go to The Grove and Century City..Westside Pavilion is alright..Beverly Center, well, most of the good stores over there are now gone. I’m used to the buses here so I know the kind of craziness that goes on on those city buses..I ride both MTA and Blue Bus, you see all kinds
Ever notice its always the goofballs with the Prius’s that have the Obama stickers on them..well sometimes I see them on Range Rovers too, but the majority of them are on the Prius’s. I used to see them all the time here, now, I see them once in a while, not as often as before which is good for me since seeing those things makes me want to barf
Seriously, has there ever been such a gap between the level of arrogance and actual worth? The problem with Biden is that unlike so many worthless politicians, he believes his own press. The guy couldn’t walk down a flight of stairs if Neil Kinnock hadn’t once done that.
No, I missed the death threat. It doesn’t surprise me though. Libs are as loathsome as they can be. My tagline says it all.
That sticker is ready for Halloween.
He’s a joke and he doesn’t realize it.
Right. Excellent tagline!!
LOL. Yes....Halloween.
The one I spotted was on a truck here.
It’s meant for other drivers who have Obama stickers...hahahahaha.
I see O’s stickers on very nice cars, but we’re near the State Capitol so maybe that has something to do with it. I had the Cream of Wheat with Obama on it “Cream of Nothing” on my truck before the election and a long time after.
Sounds like a great evening! I love those red shoes....I may need to find a pair of those!
I wish I could give you a first hand accounting of the evening but I have to rely on the news/media. :(
“Unbelievable how these whackos try to ruin a wonderful event by threatening her life..sickening..but that is the world we live in with these tolerant progressive liberal nuts running around”
They will only escalate their aggressions, and we have no choice but to overcome them ‘by any means necessary’ as they like to say. Right now, conventional means are working just fine.
Please tell me if the threat is talked about on the local news.
I’m going to get some sleep. She’s been barn storming and doing great! Hitting grand slams. Governor Palin is going to the World Series of Politics. You betcha!
I’ll send you a link in FR mail that you will enjoy. There’s a couple of stories.
You didn’t goof up the posting Bro. You just wanted to make sure we re-read it to get what we missed the first time.
Don’t worry about it; you da man!
