WASHINGTON D.C. (YBH) The NAACP/AFL-CIO-led October 2nd One Nation Working Together rally (which is endorsed by several hundred progressive organizations, and by Democratic leaders like Howard Dean) is being billed as an appeal to the mainstream for an end to intolerance, racism, divisiveness, and scapegoating. So its a bit odd that the NAACP named Curtis Gatewood, the 2nd vice president of the North Carolina NAACP Conference of Branches, as the rallys official North Carolina field director. Gatewood has a history of making racist, anti-Semitic, and inflammatory statements.
Then again, perhaps its not odd that the NAACP made Gatewood an organizer of the One Nation rally. After all, the organization can count on the mainstream media to not cover any stories that involve racists within the NAACPs ranks (even as the organization made headlines this year by calling on Tea Party organizers to renounce racism within their ranks).
Heres Gatewoods name featured on an official One Nation poster.
Keep in mind that in the days leading up to Glenn Becks August 28th rally in Washington D.C., the mainstream media went nuts over a blog posting that was deemed racially insensitive (or, at the very least, disrespectful to the residents of D.C.), even though the blogger had no affiliation or official connection to Beck and the rally (the racist blog story was carried by the AP, Yahoo News, CBS, MSNBC, the Huffington Post, the Daily Beast, the New York Daily News, and Salon.com, to name just a few).
If an unaffiliated, minor-league bloggers dumb little post merited national exposure in the days before the Beck rally, surely the much-more-severe and offensive views and statements of an actual official organizer of the NAACP/AFL-CIO rally merits at least a story or two.

Germany also had big parades just prior to WWII and flew the Nazi flag in New York. We never learn do we?
The “average American” just wishes they’d get lost. Most unions have long ago abandoned any good that they were once doing for workers.
0's pastor a hero to this crowd.
Several left wing Jewish groups are involved in the rally. Wonder how they’ll feel about this?
Watch Glen Beck. He has been giving information on these groups, in detail..They are communists and socialists according to their websites and connections. Their cost to attend this rally is paid for by the unions. The American people are on to this kind of thing. It will not work. In fact, it may just increase the angst in the nation..
EXACTLY
Which is why , say Beck’s rally or the tea party rallies are different.
We go there by making our own way, pay our way, take what we want, make our own signs.
These lot are nothing but union’s who have told members they should attend, coaches will be laid on for them, food will be given, drinks will be given, t-shirts will be given, signs will be given and slogans will be given.
The whole thing is such a charade and utterly embarrassing for them.
They also used the terminology similar to “One Nation”...
“Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Fuhrer”
Something screwy about this whole thing anyway.
Mixing Jews and muslims with pro illegal SEIU types with not so pro illegal UAW and steelworker types seems like a pretty volatile mix.
That would be so illustrative if a “diversity” riot broke out...
I predict this thing will be the 2010 version of the Wellstone Memorial.
They won’t be able to help themselves. They will show their true selves. I just hope enough of America is watching so that they will see.
That would be so illustrative if a diversity riot broke out...-———————————
A rainbow push and shove.
“A rainbow push and shove.”
Hilarious !
Financed by the Apollo project which is Soros funded isnt it.
I couldn't believe it when I saw this for sale on the internet. It's about as literal a ripoff of "Ein volk, ein reich, ein fuhrer" as anyone could wish.
