Social Engineering Bill In Senate Will Force You Into City
Personal Liberty Digest ^ | September 10, 2010 | Bob Livingston

A social engineering bill to restrict residence in the suburbs and rural areas and force Americans into city centers has passed the United States Senate Banking Committee and is on the fast track to passage in the Senate.

The bill is called the Livable Communities Act (SB 1619) and it was introduced by corruptocrat outgoing Senator Christopher Dodd (D-Conn.). It seeks to fulfill the United Nation’s plan Agenda 21, adopted at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro in 1992 and signed onto by “New World Order” President George H.W. Bush.

This bill is designed to destroy your community. According to the non-profit American Policy Center the bill:

Of all the reasons I consider myself a conservative, it’s bills like that absolutely chill me to the bone and make me glad I’m one. Hard to explain why.

Maybe it’s just the thought of elitists subtly trying to impose the will upon the rest of us. It’s subtle so they can do without the average person even understanding why.

I hope it doesn’t pass.

Thank you for posting the bill. But I’ll admit I’m too lazy to go through the whole thing with the fine-tooth comb it deserves. Could you (or anyone else) please let me know which specific sections are the offending ones? (I know that’s the usual way these things are done — bury the “dynamite” deep in the cow doo of the rest of the bill!) I looked at the liked article hoping to find that information, but it was not specific about which sections are the problems. Thanks!

I moved to the country about 6 months ago. Back home actually. I don’t think people in this area will take to the idea of Government telling you where to live.

On the other hand, the criminals in our government are so D@#$ sneaky that average people won’t know what hit them until it is too late.

Life in these United States just seems sureal these days. I think your tagline is very appropriate for this situation.

"I take it that those in the Congress and Senate and Government will be exempt from these laws."

Such policies have already been in effect in some locales for a few years. People who are at least a little wealthy will have the option of living in rural areas. The only way for working class people to have homes in those regulated rural areas is to dedicate whole lives to study and hard work for their kids' futures (building codes, construction, savings instead of mortgages, etc.)

Before long, it won't matter anyway. Big government needs big revenues from manufacturing, and those are going away.

It makes you wonder just what else we’ve never heard of, doesn’t it?

BTW, I’m in Oregon and having been living this nightmare for quite some time...which is why I live in the country.

However, living in the Oregon countryside has it’s drawbacks. For instance, if you want to build a home on five acres, you have to work the land and make (at last look) at least $80K for three years straight, or for three of five years. How many five acre plots can make that kind of money without working it to death?

If you have land that’s zoned for agriculture, you have to have, say, fruit trees and/or farm animals.

I could go on, and on, and on...but you get my drift.

We found one of the last pieces of land that was zone RR. That’s our only saving grace...and I thank God for it. Otherwise, I would be picking up hazelnuts or gathering chicken eggs every day just to be able to keep my home.

Without having to get into the details, you would be safe to look at just the general thrust of this bill which is giving the Feds reasons to go into any community and trump local and state laws in the name of achieving the goals they've set down in the bill.

To get into the details, go to the source of the bill; the goals derive from this:

UN Agenda 21

If you go through the outline on the above page, you'll see where this bill wants to take us because we know it is based on UN Agenda 21.

In other words, the purpose is to squeeze as many peons and masses (that’d be us) into as small an area as possible (easer to control) while making more land available for government to buy, acquire or steal.

Sounds like Warsaw, late 1930s to me.

SEC. 3 PURPOSES all by itself is right out of Beijing’s Great Hall of the People — Five Year Plan for Community Policing by the CCP.

But the American people will just roll over to this.

This bill, just as the Health Garbage Bill, claims to CONTROL COSTS!!!!

We must find a way to clearly articulate to the American electorate, that every time the federal government talks about “controlling” costs, their glossary defines that as RAISING costs. “Control” to them means to “control it higher and higher.”

The really chilling phrase that kept jumping out at me was

“location-efficient”

It conjures the image of something being located conveniently close to a rail spur.

What makes you say that? Sorry for questioning your statement but I’ve heard that before and then presto a bill becomes law.

OMG Oregon has those sort of laws? I guess other states do, also...and I guess I am pretty naive not knowing. I mean, I understand zoning and restrictions, but those sound extreme for persons who just want to live away from the city and enjoy the countryside life.

Thanks to all who responded with information for me to read. I am trying to get a handle on it. Most of what I read so far sounds like the typical, ideological, gobbely-gook that jealous people cooked up to make it look like they have concerns for our country. If I didn't care about the children and generations ahead I would just be happy that I am old and would crawl back into the comfort of my bed as the country goes down the tubes. Laws like this make Freedom almost a phantom thought anymore.
