I have met this woman. She is pure of heart and sincere in her convictions.

I’ve read some things on this event. It’s truly a travesty. I’m glad she’s learned to forgive.

Did the killers ask sincerely to be forgiven and then repent of their evil?

Has Horiuchi stepped up and admitted that he was wrong and offer to plead guilty in Court to the Manslaughter charges he walked on oh so many years ago?

If not then this person hasn't got a clue about the Christian concept of forgiveness.

"how could they put Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean in prison but give a pass Lon Horiuchi(?)"

Horiuchi shot a white, Christian veteran.

Forgiveness does need to be extended in many cases when there is sincere acknowledgement by the offender of the wrong committed AND WHEN there is sincere contrition by the wrongdoer. However, blanket forgiveness is not an attribute of God and should not, therefore, be an attribute of Christians. Those individuals who committed the attrocity called "Ruby Ridge" should face a tribunal for their acts. Cowardly hiding behind an excuse such as, "I was only following orders" does not exonerate them. There is no excuse for following immoral and unconstitutional orders.

“federal agents who shot and killed her mother and brother 18 years ago on Idaho’s Ruby Ridge.”

Were these the opening shots?
Was this the Lexington Common confrontation?
True enough a lot of people remember it but most have forgotten.
Will we have to have a worse conflagration?

Randy Weaver said he has only forgiven those who have admitted the truth, including four or five public officials who testified in court and a few others who later asked for forgiveness. That group, Weaver said, doesn’t include FBI sniper Lon Horiuchi or U.S. Marshal Larry Cooper and Art Roderick — the men responsible for the shootings.

Looks like Randy Weaver has the same opinion you (and I ) do.

Luk 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

It is like a pardon. If you accept the pardon it is implied you are guilty.

Lon Horiuchi is a sociopath ~ they come in two varieties. One type is out of control. The other type is used as an executioner.

It's always been that way.

They cannot understand, nor ask for, forgiveness.

You're just wasting your breath on this issue with this particular individual.

I will never understand this. Fed agents shoot and kill American citizens on their own land and those of us who are horrified by that are considered right-wing lunatics.

I agree (or face worse), however her attitude is a healthier attitude. If you harbor hatred and vengeance in your heart it will eat you up. “Vengeance is mine”, saith the Lord”, however that doesn’t stop us from bringing justice!

Uh, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.”

Sound familiar?
