Obama says he ignored Beck rally
He seemed intent on casting himself as above the political fray, saying he had more important work to do than to engage in the back and forth of the political silly season.
For example, Obama said he did not watch any of Fox News Channel host Glenn Becks Restoring Honor rally Saturday on the National Mall.
Its not surprising that somebody like a Mr. Beck is able to stir up a certain portion of the country. That's been true throughout our history, he said. But Im making decisions that are not necessarily good for the nightly news and not good for the next election, but for the next generations.

A normal, well-adjusted non-egomaniac would laud the First Amendment, and the exercise of it by Mr Beck and the crowds in DC. Instead, he once again denigrates and demeans those he doesn’t agree with. Does he realize how petty and childish and emotionally sick he appears?

Very true if these decisions are based on our Judeo Christian values. In his case they are based solely on his Socialist belief system and can only destroy this magnificent country.

But even if he does, it will simply to be to move on to his larger agenda - the world. U.N. SecGen term expires 12/31/11.
This idea scares the hell out of me. And after thinking about everything that's happening, I'm not entirely sure you were being facetious. If anything even remotely like this starts to occur...
No, I can't even wrap my mind around it.

SOMEBODY should insist that Obama thank Glenn Beck on behalf of our troops for raising over $5,000,000 for them. Or is that something he ignored too?

There is a body of thought that says it is in his best interests for the Dems to lose at least one house in the upcoming elections.

But Im making decisions that are not necessarily good for the nightly news and not good for the next election, but for the next generations.IOW, decisions that go against American values, decisions that would shrivel his support to nothing should they become known. This is a very insightful statement.

I understand that thought. It is believed that if the Rats lose one or both houses of Congress the state media will help switch the blame for the economy to the GOP. This is assuming that the GOP acts like the GOP of 2005-2006 and not like the GOP of 1995.

I’m not sure which it is, but the GOP can’t be trusted to be (1) competent and/or (2) integritous.

Obama whined and whined about a “fringe” group that questions him in a Alinsky twist.
It is not a fringe group it is a huge majority of people unhappy with the job Obama is doing.
Obama is such a partisan communist it is dividing our country.
SHAME to the Mainstream Media for putting their democratic progressive politics before their country. They all need fired and they can go to work for the Obama campaign where they belong as losers.

Im making decisions that are not necessarily good for the nightly news and not good for the next election, but for the next generations. Being fluent in Obonics, I can interpret this:
"I'm making decisions that my friends in the mainstream media can sell on my behalf and are good for fundraising. Future generations be damned."

“He has absolutely nothing in common with their culture, and they are starting to notice, I know, I live in the hood.”
My wife and I operate a revolving loan fund that does work in part in Kisumu (Western Kenya by Lake Victoria) - where Oblahblah’s family is from (his dad and grandma - and who knows, maybe him too...lol). Do you recall that story about one of his destitute cousins from Kenya - who he basically turned away? So if me, an Italian by descent and my wife - a Portuguese, German, Brit by descent can help hundreds of people in that area - but Obama can’t help his own cousin - what does that tell you about him, race, culture and what’s real?
I say all this to prove a point - and not to brag on what we’re doing - although God is blessing our efforts - Praise Him!
God bless you in the hood!
