Skip to comments.Breitbart: It's Not About Shirley Sherrod; It's About NAACP attacking Tea Party
Posted on 07/21/2010 7:39:46 AM PDT by Publius804
Breitbarts argument is simple and straightforward: Regardless of what else is in Sherrods speech, the first video released on BigGovernment.com features Sherrod telling a tale of racism that is received by the NAACP audience with laughter and cheers. They werent cheering redemption; they were cheering discrimination. Upon hearing the cheers, Sherrod fails to offer any immediate clarification and even smiles right along with them.
Breitbarts main objective by releasing the video was to call out the NAACP, an organization who has recently gone to great lengths to condemn the Tea Partys alleged racism, for sanctioning racism in its own organization. Sherrod immediately became the scapegoat for the embarrassed NAACP and USDA, but she was never the target, the NAACP itself was, and the delight the audience took in the racist part of Sherrods speech leaves them exposed.
Sherrods firing is on the NAACP, who had the entire tape and apparently never bothered to scrutinize it until Sherrod had already been relieved of her duties. If its on anyone else, its the Obama administration, but Breitbart never even called for Sherrod to be fired.
Exemplified with todays revelations into the JournoList and reinforced with the quote Breitbart read on Hannity, its been confirmed that the left conspires to label the right racist in order to distract from reasonable objections to Democratic candidates and ideas. In the 2008 election, it was Obamas association with Reverend Wright. Today, its staggering unemployment figures. Breitbart has identified that tactic, and like he did with the ACORN video exposé, hes used the lefts playbook against them.

I was glad to see him make an issue of this since no one else did.
AB may have intended it to be about the NAACP and Teaparties, but he has stumbled across some very interesting side information:
Many interesting links on this thread
plus info and comment on this thread;
...”What makes this even more interesting to me is that Charles appears to be Charles Sherrod, who was a big player in the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee in the early 1960s. The SNCC was the political womb that nurtured the Black Power movement and the Black Panthers before it faded away.”...
I doubt he stumbled:)
The Tea Party Movement is We The People. The majority of the American people are fed up with watching their country destroyed; impotently watching their privacy invaded and their freedom stolen by Elitist politicians and their cohorts in the mainstream media. The American People are being attacked by these politicians and these racist groups. This is done by design to interrupt the obvious losses these enemies of freedom are going to incur on November 2nd. Personally, I don’t care what names they call me. We’re fighting for our freedom and our children’s future. Now, get back to taking back our country on November 2nd and start on plans to finish the job in 2012. We must not fail.
What's with those clowns? Laughing at victim when she's at the part of the speech where she confesses a past sin; and then her boss fires her on an a fraction of the speech taken out of context. I have a feeling she's a skunk too, so it could be a three-fer.
Andrew is a true, courageous leader — a rarity in conservative politics today. I hope and pray that he continues to stand strong. Obama has duplicitously made believe he wants some sort of “racial dialogue.” Well, then, let’s have it — starting with courageous people like Andrew Breitbart calling out ugly, vicious racism where he sees it — even if the nefarious racists happen to be black (like, ironically, Obama himself).
Breitbart better be able to show the video backs his racist assertion.
“We must not fail”.
The actual act in progress is the NAANP hijacking the thread.
By creating the broohaha, the NAANP has removed the head ****** from the news and made the thread red meat for rhe ravenous moonbats
Breitbart has more cajones than any of the so called men in the Republican party.
Heck, Palin and Bachman are tougher than the men. Wish one elected R guy would stand up like any of these people.
Read the threads and links at 3...THen you will have proof that she’s up to no good.
mmm mmm mmm
The NAACP is a Cargo Cult.. a political religion..
you are so right....we need more like him
