I believe that many Republicans elected in November 2010 will be similar. We expect them to be the solution, but they will quickly become the problem just as much as the current crop of political elite.

Electoral solutions will not solve our problems.

Everybody talks about rivers of blood and revolution and the like here at FR. I think 99% of the people posting that stuff haven’t even tried giving to candidates, working in primaries for the conservatives, or any of the non-violent things we can do in the electoral system to win. And by giving I’m not talking $20 once every 4 years for the poor, but something that actually takes some sacrifice. Try $1000.

And for the well off, forget the $1,000 and try $10,000 or $100,000.

Not kidding. If you are serious about it it’s time to stop playing patty cake while thinking in the back of your mind that revolution might happen, someday, at some indefinite point.

We can't allow that to happen. We must stay in their faces and hold them to their promises.

You are right. Evil comes with many labels. The only solution is for God's people to turn from their wicked ways so this land may be healed.

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.- 2 Chronicles 7:14.

Gotta disagree, hopefully, my friend...The House will be much more conservative, ideologically...as well as being under GOP control, and the Senate, well, C-span 2 will be MUST SEE TV..look who’se hopefully coming, Angel, Paul, Toomey, Rubio, and several others to join DeMint, Coburn, et al..The GOP caucus, aside from growing by 20%..will be much more conservative....
