You may not like it, but racism is simply a derogatory term used to describe what in most cases is a natural inclination. Both animals and people typically give preference to their own kind, that is simply the way the brain works, probably to assist in the continutation of the species.
I wish people would quit deluding themselves about this issue.

I believe we need to define terms before this discussion can be held.
My most bland understanding of “racism” would be anything based on race. A black woman says she prefers black men, that is a “racial” or “racist” preference but big deal.
Next stop is racism that differentiates by race in some way. For example a preference for a minority job candidate is “racist” in that is based on race.
Last stop is hatred. In America a “racist” is shorthand for a hateful KKK member or New B Panther member talking about lynching, murder, etc.
Also the belief that one race is superior to another.
