This all but guarantees the bill is going through. Here's his statement:

While it isn't perfect, I expect to support the bill when it comes up for a vote...

I’m sorry I voted for him now.

If it isn’t “paid for” with taxes, then how is it “paid for”?

I’m guessing high fees and required payments from the banks.

We sent the guy money. I broke my newfound rule (since Schwarzenegger) that a big government liberal Republican is worse than a big government liberal Democrat. When it comes to the "lesser of two evils," it's often the Democrat because when the Republican does crap like this, it's pissing in the GOP well and poisoning the future hope of the party, something even the most committed Democrat could never do. I broke the rule ... and am seeing the consequences.

Serves me right.

While it isn't perfect..

From not only Brown, but Collins and Snowe comes the stupid-assed little disclaimer. Those three could've kept this from happening, but nope... they want to be mentioned in history books.

Do not be troubled.

There is not a conservative either in or aspiring to public office in Massachusetts.

I've known this since at least 1968 and I readily admit I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

So did I, and I don't even live in MA. Ah, well... a fool and his money are soon parted.

I wonder if Brown knows about the Congo provision in the bill.

What did you people expect?

He’s from Massachusetts. Did you think because he was running against a Democrat that that made him a clone of (insert your favorite conservative name here)?

God sake he’s from Massachusetts! Just be thankful he doesn’t wear an I Love Stalin button and write in Cyrillic.

I'm still searching for the difference between the Republican Party and the Democrat Party. The Republican candidate preaches conservative values during the campaign to get elected and then votes like their true self, a liberal RINO. The Democrat candidate supports liberal values to get elected and then votes like their true self, an extreme ultra liberal. They are both liars and cheats.

The Tea Party and other grass roots conservative groups needs to distance themselves from these Republican liars.

Me too, me too.

I am left pretty speechless here. Given a choice between him and Martha Coakley, I did what I could for Scott Brown.

I just don’t know what the hell to do anymore.

We were told it didn’t matter where he stood on other issues, because at least, he was a no vote on health care, and that alone made it ok to vote for him....lol

There are plenty.

Remember Scott Brown sits in Kennedy's district.

He is certainly not representative of the whole party, the vast majority of which is voting against this bill.

You would rather have Marsha Coakley?

Relieve some of that stress and vote for Sailor Jerry!

Not one Republican voted for 0bamaCare. Isn't that a difference?

What we have here is a RINO in a pick-up truck!

I shall not offer any fuel to him when his tank is on empty.

I live in California. I didn't want to see "Kennedy's seat" go to a Democrat.

This incident with Brown is one more bit of persuasion for me to refrain from voting for Meg Whitman, the "Republican" governor candidate, no matter how bad Jerry Brown is.
