Feds sue to block Arizona illegal immigrant law

PHOENIX (AP) -- The U.S. Justice Department on Tuesday filed a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of Arizona's new law targeting illegal immigrants, setting the stage for a clash between the federal government and the state over the nation's toughest immigration crackdown.

The lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Phoenix argues that Arizona's law requiring state and local police to question and possibly arrest illegal immigrants during the enforcement of other laws such as traffic violations usurps federal authority.

I found this quote astounding from Mr. Bolden:

“When I became the NASA administrator — or before I became the NASA administrator — he charged me with three things. “
“and third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science ... and math and engineering,” Bolden said in the interview. “

In other words, when he was appointed to be head of NASA by Obama; and given the charge at the time to reach out to Muslims. As the PRIMARY role of his job!!!
