I'm very aware of what out of control health care costs have done to our nation's manufacturing sector.
And I've seen the detailed itemized bills for what it cost to implant a defibrilator in my chest.
So I really don't have much sympathy for cardiologists.
I'm sure that their household budget isn't quite as tight as mine.
So you’ve “seen the bills”? Wow, so did YOU pay market price, or anything at all, for your fancy device? As for the household budget of a cardiologist, that seems none of your business unless you are writing him a check for the full amount - then you might have a beef. Otherwise, what right do YOU have to comment on his budget? Compared to the overall bill, his take-home pay was probably not overly generous.

You need to redirect that anger. It isn’t the doctors lavish lifestyles driving up those costs, by and large. Look more toward the John Edward’s of the world.
