Saudi scholar's fatwa wades into controversy
Saudi scholar gets into trouble for saying that women could give their milk to men for maternal relations
Manama: A Saudi scholar has waded into controversy after he said that women could give their milk to men to establish a degree of maternal relations and get around a strict religious ban on mixing between unrelated men and women.
According to Shaikh Abdul Mohsin Al Abaican, a consultant at Saudi Arabia's royal court, a man who often entered a house and came in contact with the womenfolk there should be made symbolically related to the women by drinking milk from one of the women.
Under the fatwa, the act would preclude any sexual relations between the man and the donor woman and her relatives.
However, Al Abaican said that the donor woman should not breastfeed the man directly.
"The man should take the milk, but not directly from the breast of the woman," Al Abaican said. "He should drink it and then becomes a relative of the family, a fact that allows him to come in contact with the women without breaking Islam's rules about mixing," he said, quoted by Kuwaiti and Saudi media on Saturday.
However, the scholar said that his fatwa did not apply to family drivers, explaining that they were not permanent and could be replaced. "The fatwa is only for those who live in the house or need to get in often," he said.
Al Abaican's fatwa was immediately rejected by bloggers as "a decision that is totally unrelated to reality at a time when people are thinking about bold and new space discoveries."
Many wrote that there was no reason for the fatwa to be issued and that scholars should focus instead on "much more significant issues."
The edict is also likely to be resisted by religious scholars keen on promoting a more modern view of Islamic values.
Exactly three years ago, on May 22, 2007, an Egyptian scholar was disciplined by Al Azhar University, one of Islam's most prestigious institutions, after he issued a fatwa calling upon women to breastfeed their male colleagues.
Dr Izzat Attiyah said that his fatwa offered a way around mixing of the sexes in the work place since breast-feeding established a maternal relation even if the beneficiary was not the woman's biological son or daughter.
However, following Islamic scholars' fierce denunciation of the fatwa as defamatory to Islam, Izzat retracted it.
What has it been, 13,14 centuries this religion has existed, and they're still coming up with new ways to humiliate and debase women.
Now we've established that it's ethical to milk a woman like a dairy cow, then give it to a man so another woman won't have to be killed when the man barges into her house.
I can't believe women over there put up with this. Women over here should tremble at the thought of such a tyrannical regime ever reaching our shores.
This is what comes from a completely debased and rotten culture, introspective and out of touch with the rest of the planet. This is just crazy. It would be a good thing if they could be walled off from the rest of us, and slide on down to whatever bottomland Saudi culture will eventually reach. If they ever lost their oil leverage, who would pay any attention to them? They’d be like an isolated village that has been out of touch with the rest of the world the last 2000 years.

This makes perfect sense to me.
I’m going to approach all of the women I work with on a regular basis and let them know that I’ve converted to Islam, and that they need to supply me some of their breast milk to drink so that I can symbolically become a family member. And then we will be free to associate with each other.
One should ALWAYS do the proper thing, you know.

He's not far off if one takes Islam seriously and that the word of the Prophet cannot be disputed or changed, and the Koran remains the same. The only "way out of that" is to abandon Islam as a false and evil idealogy -- one in which it's designed to overthrow governments all over the world until it is the dominant government over every human being.
On the other hand, if we were to look at Christianity, listen to that first sermon that Peter gave at Pentecost and to Paul's writings and the rest of the New Testament -- there is nothing that makes it "out of date" and it's as apprpriate in every detail now as it was almost 2,000 years ago.
Islam, though, doesn't "hold up" and is a "man-made" idealogy. Christianity comes from the God of Abraham, Isacc and Jacob and is centered on Jesus, the Messiah of Israel. And as the Bible says, He's the same yesterday, today and forever... :-)

According to the Bible, which is the Word of God (i.e., the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob), Allah fits the characteristics of Satan, as he is described in the Bible. Allah matches up with what Satan is.
No, I'm not engaging in some hyperbole here... but actually saying that we've got a description of Satan, from how Allah is described.
Satah is a real being, he had a major part in creating Islam as a false religion and to bring about his end-days persecution of the Jews (as is happening now). The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is just as real, and the Messiah of Israel (Jesus) is His Son, sent here for the Salvation of the world.
So, why you've got a sick and perverted idealogy here -- is because it's something that came from Satan, as he was preparing for the final persecution and destruction of the Jews (at least he was hoping so ...).

It's just as relevant and true and real today as it was almost 2,000 years ago.
That's the difference between following a false idealogy and a false god, Allah, versus following the One and true and Creator God (the one mentioned in the Declaration of Independence), who is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

That's true and people do that. In their own sin nature they work to feed it by the various desires that they have, and the strive after those desires and they will do many things to satisfy those desires.
BUT, I should note here that the reason why this kind of hatred is a Satanic one, and has been instilled by Satan is shown by comparison to what people can do on their own.
Pretty much always, when people end up doing one kind of evil or perverted thing or another, it's to satisfy some desire that they have for themselves... there's something that it "meets" for their own person -- even if it seems twisted, it does benefit themselves.
What you have with Jews over the centuries with Islam is nothing that necessarily benefits individuals inside of Islam or even benefits Islam itself, as an idealogy. Jews are singled out in Islam for being the ultimate goal for race destruction on the end day. They will kill all the Jews. There's no personal benefit there; there's not a benefit that comes from "Jews" as a race, that spills over to Islam -- if Islam kills all Jews...
I mean, they don't say they're going to kill all other groups and utterly destroy them. But they do say so with Jews, without any personal benefit and/or group benefit (i.e., to the "idealogy" itself).
That's as opposed to the sins and desires that people have and what they can do in order to get them satisfied... a direct benefit to themselves, in some way.
Thus, this kind of hatred is a direct result of something "Satanically instilled" in this group of people and in this idealogy.
They make all these assinine laws and regulations, then finally one of the big boys wants to give someone an “out” to get around all these laws because it’s impossible to live life without breaking them and even they don’t want to lose their head over it, so you get additional, even more weird and bizarre exceptions that allow you to supposedly not break a rule.
So the "law" only applies to semi-permanent employees or family members?
Wonder how all the Sri Lankans and Filipinos that work in the Kingdom deal with this new law.
Oh, it was rescinded because it MADE ISLAM LOOK TOTALLY STUPID! Either it is a rule or not, irrespective of how outsiders see it.
