Claiming that there are too many files to sort through, Clinton Library officials wont provide the Senate Judiciary Committee with crucial information on Elena Kagans work in the administration in time for her confirmation hearings.
The committee, which considers judicial nominations, requested that the Supreme Court nominees records be furnished before the start of her June 28 confirmation hearings. The information is especially important because Kagan has no judicial experience and therefore no paper trail of legal opinions.
That essentially makes her Clinton Administration work her most important, and perhaps revealing, to date. Kagan was a top White House counsel under Bill Clinton who later got elevated to deputy assistant for domestic policy. Clinton also nominated her to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia but she never received a confirmation hearing from the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Now the committee wants documents related to Kagans time as a top presidential assistant, when she worked on policy matters dealing with firearms, tobacco and campaign finance. Senators have asked the Clinton Presidential Library for files, letters, memos and electronic mail to be considered before her hearings. The director of the William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Museum says it will be very difficult to meet the deadline...
Kagan, President Obamas Solicitor General, is a liberal activist and political operative with financial ties to Goldman Sachs, the global investment firm embroiled in a major fraud scandal. As dean of Harvard Law School, she worked for the Wall Street titan that donates generously to Democrats.

I doubt they even checked. If they did, they’d find that Sandy Burglar got there first and there are only a couple of innocuous letters left behind.
He'll find the relevant documents and get 'em out before lunch.
I wonder if Specter was still a Republiacn what he would do?
The list, ping
Transparency? Lying, power-hungry, opportunists?
Agreed. Simply tell clinton that she will not be considered until the committee has the notes in hand.
Color-coded?
Right characters but wrong scene. This is not the scene where Claude Rains tells Humphrey Bogart that he’s shocked to find gambling in the cafe. That happened inside the cafe.
This scene takes place outdoors and it goes like this:
Captain Renault: I’ve often speculated why you don’t return to America. Did you abscond with the church funds? Run off with a senator’s wife? I like to think you killed a man. It’s the Romantic in me.
Rick: It was a combination of all three.
Gift from Andy Stern ...
can you tell by looks the difference between Kagan and Napolitano? Why do so many Dem women look like that?
“She further pointed out that, under the Presidential Records Act, attorneys for both Clinton and President Obama have the right to read and review each document before its released and that could take a lot of time. “
On his agenda. Right after reading the AZ immigration bill.
More transparency from the democrats.
We will have to confirm her to find out.
They just handed us a club to beat them over the head with. The cover up is always worse then the crime. Act outraged and make it seem like they are hiding something. The man on the street will understand that. He won’t understand she’s a commie just like O.
More transparency. Maybe I better look up the word - it doesn’t seem to mean what I thought it did.
....skin color???...other than that, uh...ooopss that’s racist....Oh, and they look that way cuz they’re Dems...it’s pretty much a given for the ones in the spotlight, anyhoo... bleccchhhhh
